Hey everyone, Tanya here! Can you believe it? I’m a mere six months shy of the big 3-0! Lately, I’ve been catching myself spiralling into a bit of an existential crisis. Where did the time go? Have I accomplished enough? Is this really what 30 feels like?

Looking ahead to my 30s, I realised it was all too easy to get bogged down by regrets. Instead of focusing on the “shoulda-woulda-couldas,” I’ve decided to take a more positive approach to this new era of my life. Instead of dwelling on change, I have decided to take charge. I plan to make my 30s EPIC so I’ve created a bucket list of 40 things I want to achieve before hitting the big 4-0. 30 and thriving baby!

Travel Bug:

  1. Conquer Europe on a 10-week adventure
  2. Explore a new country every year – the world awaits!
  3. Set sail on a cruise

Fitness Goals:

  1. Train for and conquer a 5k – baby steps to bigger achievements!
  2. Up the ante with a 10k
  3. Push my limits with a half-marathon
  4. Go the full distance – a marathon, here I come!

Creative Sparks:

  1. Write a book
  2. Dive into a captivating book series
  3. Express myself with a new tattoo – a permanent reminder of my journey!
  4. Unleash my inner athlete and join a sports club – time to play ball!

Building Dreams:

  1. Become a boss babe – starting my own company, watch out world!
  2. Share my voice with the world – starting this blog, here we go!
  3. Hit the open road on an American tour – freedom on four wheels!
  4. Invest in a second home

Life’s Little Luxuries:

  1. Compose an original album and record it
  2. Experience the joy of parenthood
  3. Fly in style – first class or business class, here I come!

Financial Freedom:

  1. Say goodbye to student loans – debt-free living, yes please!
  2. Make a Will – plan for the future.

Indulge & Unwind:

  1. Spoil myself with a stay at a fancy hotel – complete with room service!
  2. Relax and recharge at an all-inclusive resort.
  3. Pay it forward – blessing someone in need.

Making Memories:

  1. Recreate a childhood picture – a walk down memory lane!
  2. Disconnect and reconnect with myself and others – I plan to take at least one digital detox every year!
  3. Explore the underwater world in the islands – snorkeling adventures await!

Strength & Growth:

  1. Conquer the pull-up challenge with 5 in a row.
  2. Set the mood with a romantic rooftop dinner.
  3. Savor the sweet and savory – chocolate and cheese fondue, yum!

Creative Pursuits:

  1. Learn to sew
  2. Craft a personalized recipe book – my culinary creations documented!
  3. Seek expert care – a chiropractor adjustment or 90 minute massage for a healthy me!

Embrace the Outdoors:

  1. Make camping an annual tradition – nature is calling!
  2. Teach my child the value of experiences – memories over material things!
  3. Revive the art of letter-writing – snail mail.

Mind & Body:

  1. Learn self-defense – empowering myself, one kick at a time!
  2. Unwind in a hammock nap – the ultimate relaxation!
  3. Master a new language – ¡Hola, Español!

Foodie Fun:

  1. Expand your culinary horizons – a new recipe every month!
  2. Rekindle the romance with annual couple trips – exploring together!
